Personal details about Ratan Tata

 Ratan Tata, born on December 28, 1937, in Mumbai, was the son of Naval Tata and Soonoo Tata. He was raised by his grandmother, Navajbai Tata, after his parents separated when he was ten. He attended prestigious schools including Campion School and Cornell University, where he earned a degree in architecture.

Tata joined the Tata Group in 1962, eventually becoming its chairman from 1991 to 2012. He was instrumental in transforming the group into a global powerhouse through strategic acquisitions like Jaguar Land Rover. Ratan Tata passed away on October 9, 2024, leaving a significant legacy in both business and philanthropy.
